Food items could include hot cocoa mix, instant oatmeal, gum, mints, candy, packaged snacks. Donations may be brought to the church office by February 12.
Friends in Faith
“Serve the Lord with gladness.” Psalm 100:2
Friends-in-Faith is a member of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML), the official women’s auxiliary of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. The LWML focuses on affirming each woman’s relationship with Christ, encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries and support global missions.
Mission goals are funded locally, district and nationally by mites collected by members and members of the congregation. (Mite Box)
In our congregation we have several money making activities during the year to fund outreach for members and friends in need, local charities, and fellowship events. (Silent Auction, Bake Sale and Advent & Lenten Dinners)
Friends-in-Faith meet the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall.
