Everyone is invited to Good Shepherd on Sunday, December 9 at 6:00 pm for the annual Choir Christmas Concert and Dessert Smorgasbord. Besides the adult choir, there will be other special music that evening. Invite your family and friends for this evening of Christmas music as we prepare for the birth of our Lord and Savior.
Choir
As a member or prospective member of this great ministry of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, we want you to be fully aware of the importance of this organization to the worship vitality of our church. As with any worthwhile endeavor, there are expectations of leader and members alike.
The Adult Choir serves faithfully year round to share the saving grace of Jesus Christ with all who hear and see through music. The choir strives to give our best gifts to this ministry through diligent work and purposeful attendance. We support, love and care for each other in the most thoughtful and Christ like ways possible.
As a member, you will be asked to:
- Attend regular rehearsals on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings
- Give glory to God through song during the scheduled Choir Anthems during Divine Services
- Sing with joyful voice at the Annual Choir Concert and Special Services
- Support special occasions and events involving our music program.
